Never mind the crack pipes and needles, here come The Libertines in the original line up! Yep, Pete Doherty stayed with it long enough to join Carl Barat onstage at London’s HMV Forum in what was billed as a ‘live rehearsal’ in front of 300 friends and family in London on Tuesday night, where they warmed up for their Reading and Leeds Festival headline gigs this weekend.

Providing Pete can keep off the crack pipe long enough, they were due to play another show for fans who won tickets in an internet ballot overnight Australian time, before playing arguably the biggest gigs of their stop start career this weekend at Reading and Leeds.

Their ‘live rehearsal’ set was:

‘Horrorshow’
‘The Delaney’
‘Vertigo’
‘Last Post On The Bugle’
‘Begging’
‘The Ha Ha Wall’
‘Lust Of The Libertine’
‘Campaign Of Hate’
‘Boys In The Band’
‘Tell The King’
‘Death On The Stairs’
‘Music When The Lights Go Out’
‘What Katie Did’
‘The Saga’
‘Can’t Stand Me Now’
‘What Became Of The Likely Lads’
‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’
‘The Good Old Days’
‘Time For Heroes’
‘Radio America’/Up The Bracket’
‘What A Waster’
‘I Get Along’
