Following a disastrous event in Melbourne in 2009, the Laneway Festival moved to some new venues in 2010 and pulled off a spectacular comeback, including the canny booking of acts such as Mumford & Sons and Florence & The Machine just as they broke through in Australia. It’s coming back next year, with the dates being announced and all venues bar Auckland locked in. The Brisbane and Adelaide events will be twilight events so punters don’t all have to pull sickies and can come after work.
