Mainstays of the Aussie electronic scene, Sydney duo Bag Raiders are back today with a slick new dose of electro pop, ‘Beat Me To the Punch’.
Featuring the vocals of Grammy-nominated singer Mayer Hawthorne, it’s a perfectly-timed drop heading into summer nights, its cosmic disco already leaving us hanging for Friday night pre-drinks. The new jam follows on from the release of their Checkmate EP earlier this year, and signals a bit of a shift from that release with a warmer, vocal-heavy pop sound.
In a couple of days, Bag Raiders are launching straight into a huge string of shows (dates below) in the lead-up to the release of their new LP early next year – their first full-length release since their 2010 debut on Modular set Sydney ablaze.
