Are Canadian indie darlings the Arcade Fire about to announce an Australian tour? Various hushed whispers from promoters and emails in the Tone Deaf inbox suggest that the band are going to skip the Big Day Out which they were a part of during their first tour of Australian in 2008, and hold their own headline tour around the country this coming February.
Naturally summer in Australia would be a far more enjoyable place for the band to be than in their freezing snow bound hometown of Montreal, Canada. Currently making the move from indoor arena to stadium band with new album The Suburbs, watch this space for an announcement over the next few days.
