Maroochy fest adds even more acts to the lineup, and announces set times

There are now under three weeks to go until Maroochy Music & Visual Arts Festival hits the Sunshine Coast, but the one-day bash has added more names to its big lineup, and announced the set times so you can start planning your day around sets by Alison Wonderland, The Presets, Bernard Fanning, Gang of Youths, Horrorshow, Skeggs, Mallrat, Anna of the North, and more.

12 new electronic acts will now be performing on the secondary Love Suite stage, with emerging talent Willaris K playing a DJ set with the stage’s programmers Tim Fuchs and Lola DJs, while Jawgoh, Alex Millington, Lachness, Rhys Bynon and Sammy Owens will also be on board.

Rather than just a DJ tent, the Love Suite is being billed as an immersive experience that blends disco, soul, funk, house and techno with the immersive fun of glitter, paint stalls, and even a shared props cupboard – so you can head to the suite to touch up your festival attire before heading back into the fray.

It all kicks off on Saturday August 26 in the New Maroochydore CBD’s natural amphitheatre on the Sunshine Coast, with final release tickets on sale now – check out the full lineup below.
