Back for a third run this year, Queensland bash Maroochy Music & Vis Arts Festival has just revealed the list of acts set to pile onto the stage of Maroochydore’s natural amphitheatre come Saturday August 26.

Following on from a ripper event last year, they’re kicking things off in 2017 with a varied selection of headliners in Alison Wonderland, The Presets and Powderfinger’s own Bernard Fanning.

Hoping to top a big 2016 lineup, the one-dayer will also boast Horrorshow, Skegss, Gang of Youths, Billy Davids & The Good Lords, Mallrat, OKBadlands and Northeast Party House, as well as Norwegian visitor Anna Of The North.

That’s a pretty nice cross-section right there, pleasing the rock lovers, hip hop heads and electronic fans in one sweep – and you won’t have to worry about any clashes. Promising a more relaxed festival experience befitting its Sunshine Coast surrounds, there’s one stage to check out, so no mad dash between one act and the next.

There’s a full complement of visual artists promised too, with local Lucas Salton’s Spi-Fi Mo-Fo installation, a collab between Design Lab & Tiamco, and a 3D art wall painted by international artists throughout the day.

Looking like the biggest year yet with that lineup, and tix are set to go on sale this Wednesday May 17 bright and early at 8am – find out everything you need to know over at the event page.
