Ex-Fugees rapper Wyclef Jean has made headlines again after being hospitalised for ‘stress and exhaustion’ as reported by the AP online.
The 37 year old is being treated at an unknown facility where he checked in on the weekend due to “suffering from stress and fatigue based on the grueling eight weeks he’s had” as stated by his representative Marian Salzman, alluding to Jean’s application to be in the running for Haiti’s new President, even though he failed to meet one of the most important criteria- being a resident for at least five years- and his application was rejected. There has also been some reports that he and his wife have been dodging tax in the US.
Jean has also been doing some mud-slinging in the past few weeks at solo shows, calling Sean Penn a ‘coke sniffer’ and had this message for his ex-Fugees bandmate: “Praswell, even though you don’t want to support me, I got love for you, even though you only kicked 8 bars in the Fugees.” Ouch.
