Rivers Cuomo and co have announced details of the re-release of the Holy Grail of Emo, their 1996 Pinkerton album. Written off at the time, it has now – for better or worse – has been hailed as the touchstone for every shitty self-indulgent Emo band to apply their Mum’s makeup and write songs about their paaaaainnnn, man!

Released on November 2nd, and supported by the band playing select dates only in the US at this stage, the album will be a double affair with 25 previously unreleased tracks including studio outtakes, forgotten tracks and live tracks recorded around the time of the album’s original release.
