UPDATE: After the first two shows sold out, two more shows have been added to Ben Howard’s Aussie tour.

One of the UK’s finest acoustic guitar virtuosos Ben Howard has announced a string of massive Splendour In The Grass sideshows set for Sydney and Melbourne this July.

The singer/songwriter will be making his first way to Australia since 2015, in which he was scheduled to perform at Bluesfest. He, unfortunately, cancelled his appearance at the festival, rescheduling a slew of headline shows due to massive demand.

This time around, Howard will play shows at Sydney’s Opera House and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre, with tickets going on sale this Friday, May 4th. Howard will be bringing his upcoming album Noonday Dream, set for a release on June 1st to Aussie audiences, his first full-length effort since 2014’s Forget Where.

He’ll be playing alongside the likes of Kendrick Lamar, MGMT and The Avalanches on Splendour In The Grass’ closing night.
