Have you got any plans for tonight? Well, you’d better cancel them, because veteran comedy-rocker “Weird Al” Yankovic has just announced that every single one of the shows from his 2018 tour are now available for streaming online.

Having been at the forefront of satirical music for close to 40 years, “Weird Al” Yankovic has garnered quite a voracious fanbase over the years, with many fans still to this day partaking in the act of recording live concerts in order to hear new songs, new parodies, and stunning live performances.

However, “Weird Al” has now beaten these fans to the punch, releasing every single one of the 77 performances on his 2018 ‘Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour’ for streaming online. With all of the shows professionally mixed and mastered, this is the closest you’ll get to being there without ever having to leave the comfort of your living room.

Of course, recent shows on “Weird Al” Yankovic’s tour have been generating a few headlines thanks in part to his tendency to close his performances with a rare cover instead one of his famous parodies. In addition to making his guitar-playing debut with a cover of Neil Young’s ‘Cinnamon Girl’ and performing one of the Foo Fighters’ early singles, the beloved muso has also covered tracks by The Clash, the Sex Pistols, and Olivia Newton-John, just to name a few.

In fact, just a matter of days ago, Yankovic released a 25-minute video compiling all 77 of the covers he performed on his recent tour. Want to hear his version of Talking Heads’ ‘Psycho Killer’? You got it. The Ramones’ ‘I Wanna Be Sedated’? Yep. Even Smash Mouth’s ‘All Star’? Inexplicably, yes! They’re all here!

If you’re keen on streaming all of Yankovic’s 2018 shows, head over to the website of podcast service Stitcher where you can sign up for a free trial and start listening to some comedy gold.

As it stands, it’s been a couple of years since “Weird Al” Yankovic made his way down to Aussie shores, but who knows what sort of cover songs he might be attempting when he decides to finally make his way back to Australia.
