This is a rather odd pairing that we’re more than grateful for: UK rock beasts Def Leppard have unleashed a cover of Depeche Mode’s new wave classic ‘Personal Jesus’ as part of Spotify Singles – a new singles club that basically does what it says on the tin.
The 1990 single is one of the most popular British songs of all time, routinely turning up on Best Ever lists, so it’s not too surprising that Def Leppard are fans of the track, despite the two bands’ differing styles. Def Leppard rock the song up substantially, and have begun to open recent shows with the song.
