The myth, the man, the legend, William Shatner is coming to Australia later this year for what is sure to be a truly unforgettable event.

Last in the country in 2015, William Shatner is set to return to Australia this October for his ‘Shatner’s World’ tour, which will give fans of the iconic actor, director, and singer a chance to see the living legend up close and personal.

“I’ve done this one-man show on Broadway and in many cities across the United States,” explained Shatner of the tour. “At the curtain call, the audiences’ reaction, their love and appreciation, moved me to tears. This show has been one of the highlights of my life.”

“Bringing it back to where it all started is very special,” he continued. “I’ll be bringing more stories and songs. When you have been around and have worked in this business for as long as I have, there’s a heck of a lot to share.”

“Australian audiences will also be able to hear some of my latest musical endeavours performed live for the very first time. It’s going to be a hell of a lot of fun.”

Described as a 100-minute “theatrical voyage”, the shows are set to give audiences a vast insight into William Shatner’s life and career. From his TV work with shows such as Star TrekBoston Legal, and The Twilight Zone, to his musical career which we recently described as essential listening, fans are undoubtedly in for a treat.

William Shatner’s Aussie tour kicks off in Perth on October 8th, and visits Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne over the next three days. Pre-sale tickets go on sale on Wednesday, July 25th, before general public tickets go on sale from Monday, July 30th.
