Two ghosts of rockstars past will join forces on a double headline tour around the U.K. and North America this year. Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly will be reincarnated as holograms for the “Rock ‘N’ Roll Dream Tour.”

The tour is scheduled to take place in October. It is set to make its way through the U.K. and America at the same time. Because a linear hologram tour wasn’t enough, BASE Hologram had to prove that they could run the same tour in two different countries.

A description on the tour’s website reads:

“The Rock ‘N’ Roll Dreams Tour will feature remastered audio from both legends alongside a live band and back up singers coming together in one mesmerizing night of performances.”

Roy Orbison died from a heart attack in 1988 and Buddy Holly passed away in a freak plane accident in 1959 alongside fellow musicians Ritchie Valens, and J. P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson. Holly’s death has been remembered as the “Day that Music Died”.

Base Hologram made headlines last year when they announced plans for an Amy Winehouse hologram tour. That tour has sinced been postponed on account of “some unique challenges and sensitivities.”

The tour dates for the U.S. run have yet to be announced, but you can check out the U.K. schedule below.
