We’d like to know a little bit about you for our files, however we don’t like regurgitating press releases or asking the easy questions. No-one gets out of the Tone Deaf Interrogation lightly, so just hold still, grit your teeth, clench your buttocks and be still while we put on the rubber gloves, apply the thumbscrews, and pull out our thermometer while you open up and say ahhhhhhhhhhh… Truthful answers only or we drink your rider while you’re on stage.

Everyone joins or forms a band to get laid. If your band represents your sex life are you Casanova or spending plenty of time doing the five knuckle shuffle?

Thank god i joined a band to play music – because i am certainly not getting laid…..or by anyone worth bragging about at this stage. I don’t think the band is at the “you’re worth being laid now”…well not by girls our own age…sure maybe some 14/15 year olds….but we’re defs not going there. I think i’d have more of a chance getting laid being a uni student to tell you the truth.

We don’t want to know about the painfully hip bands your press release says you’re influenced by. Take us back to your bedroom when you were 14. What band posters did you have on the wall?

I didn’t have posters on my wall when i was 14 because I wasn’t a **** haha but I did read magazines about my favourite drummers. Unlike the music we play now, i was listening to pop rock/70’s/and heavy rock back then. I ***** hated pop punk….I guess I grew up a little bit and opened my mind to all music…

What’s been your worst gig and why are you glad there’s no footage of it on Youtube … yet?

Recently, our most uncomfortable gig was when Michael (bass player) was sick…so we played without him. Instead andy played bass. This wasn’t the most rehearsed gig ever but we got through it. Thanks god there was only like 10 people watching right? Kinda pissed that there is no youtube video of it.

Tomorrow’s payday, so we’ve only got $20 to get you drunk. Where do we go and what do we buy with it?

Give me $20. I’ll bail on you and the alcohol and go to the $1 peep show and get times 20 peeps. Better give me a few tissues aswell…

We’ve been looking in the $2 bin at Dixons Recycled and also bidding on eBay – what releases are we looking for there that your band has put out?

Well tell me where dixons recycled is and i’ll go by and chuck our latest single “Hayley”. Its rare, we only have a few copies ourself. Its a digital release. You won’t find our “52 Flicks”, “Bedtime Stories and Morning Glories”, and “Gunfingers” ep’s on ebay either. Maybe if we were famous. Until then, we’re just on itunes or at live shows.

Suppose we put a gun to your head and force you to kiss a member of another Australian band. Who, which band and why?

You put a gun to my head and I will probably start singing a 50 cent song. I’d probs peck the dudes from Trigger Theory because they are our friends and they get a little curious sometimes. Then i’d steal the gun off you and see how you like it! But that was only Australian bands – otherwise it would be Hayley Williams – who our new single “Hayley” is written about.
