Beloved Aussie collective The Cat Empire are set to hit the road later this year, announcing a run of national tour dates.

If you’re a fan of The Cat Empire, then things might have been a little lean for you over the last few months. Sure, we scored their new album, Stolen Diamonds, back in February, and a small run of Aussie shows undoubtedly satiated the crowds, but fans eager for a headline tour were left wanting.

Now, following a well-received trek over to North America, The Cat Empire are setting their sights on the home ground, returning to Australia for a headline tour this October and November.

Kicking off in Sydney on October 3rd, the group will be hitting up Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth, along with appearances at the Caloundra Festival and the Queenscliff Music Festival as well.

Not enough for you? Don’t worry too much, because the group have promised that more dates are set to be added to the forthcoming tour.

To make things extra special though, The Cat Empire have also announced a new global partnership with Children’s Ground, an organisation designed with – and led by – First Nations people who are creating a different future for their children and grandchildren.

Delivering early childhood and primary learning, health, employment, creative arts and community development, within a culturally rich environment and a 25-year vision for change, $1 from every ticket sold on their upcoming tour will be donated to Children’s Ground by The Cat Empire.

Tickets go on sale from 9am on Wednesday, July 3rd, so be sure to not only come out and see one of the best live shows around, but also support a good cause along the way.
