Once again, Sydney EDM royalty Flume has proven that he cares not for our heart rate. The musician has revealed that he will be dropping a surprise EP tomorrow. The EP, Quits, is a joint effort with hip-hop artist, Reo Cragun.

This marks the second collaboration between the two artists, Cragun lent his talents to Flume’s single ‘Friends.’ The track dropped the week after Flume released his mixtape Hi, This Is Flume in March.

“For about two weeks we just did sessions all the time and wrote so much music, started all these ideas and then started finishing them off,” Flume explained to triple j at the time of the tracks release. “We’ve actually done a bunch of tracks together but this one, we’re just really happy with how it turned out.”

Details about the forthcoming EP have been kept under wraps, but we only have to wait until tomorrow — patience is pleasures greatest advocate.

This isn’t the first time the musician has surprised fans with a release, giving his loyal devotees only 24 hours notice before the drop of Hi, This Is Flume.

Last month, the Aussie legend dropped a new single ‘Let You Know’ with London Grammar vocalist Hannah Reid.

“Hannah Reid and I wrote ‘Let You Know’ last summer,” Flume explained of their collaboration. “I was on a writing trip to London, was actually the same trip where I first met slowthai.

“Had been wanting to make something with Hannah for a long time and this one just came together really naturally in the studio that day.”
