Arguably Australia’s most controversial band Sticky Fingers have secretly released details for a huge Australian Arena tour.
The Sydney band quietly sent tour details to email newsletter subscribers this afternoon. The email, titled “a love letter from me to you”, claims to have been a “long time” coming, and comes just as they return from international dates. The tour they just wrapped up saw frontman Dylan Frost reportedly go missing, leading to a social media callout to the find the guy.

“Lovers. Friends. Family
Paddy & the lads from Sticky ‘ere
It’s been a long time a comin’
It’s been a long road there n’ back
Stoned, battered, torn n’ frayed
Our bellies in stitches of laughter
The smiles the love for it all the same
Looks like we’re here to stay
Yours To Keep
Alreet then off for a power nap
It’s all about to kick off again
Ain’t no place like home
Lotsa love from all the lads!”
The upcoming tour will see the band hit up capital cities across Australia, playing arena sized shows in each city.
Victorian venue Melbourne Arena Tweeted about the show this afternoon:

Sticky Fingers went well and truly off the radar for the bulk of 2017-18, after allegations of racial abuse came to light, leading to an indefinite hiatus. The band then announced a comeback last year, touring the country and heading out on those international dates.
All this has led to the band being dubbed the “Donald Trump of Australian Music”
Sticky Fingers member Paddy Cornwall went on a huge anti-triple j tirade earlier this year. In that tirade, Cornwall referred to triple j as “f**king maggots”, explaining how he believed their playlisting is “f**king bullshit”.
“Triple J, fuck you and your fucking artist repertoire. We don’t fucking need you. We don’t want you because you play your fucking bullshit and you’re a bunch of fucking maggots,” Cornwall said.
Finalising his tirade, Cornwall said, “I think what the people want is for you to stop being the fucking cowards you are, and address this shit. You have not blacklisted us. You’ve done nothing, you’ve just backed out like the bunch of fucking sheep you are.”
For more info on the tour, you’ll have to do some digging into Sticky Fingers’ social media.
