Watch Stella Donnelly as she flies across the universe in this absolutely beautiful Beatles cover.

Filmed for The Line of Best Fit at End of the Road Festival 2019, Stella Donnelly took some time out of her busy schedule to perform an absolutely incredible cover of The Beatles track ‘Across the Universe’.

You can watch the cover at the bottom of this post, which features Stella and her guitar and a microphone, sweetly singing along to a Beatles classic.

The Line of Best Fit constantly features incredible covers on their YouTube channel, as well as performances from iconic singers and songwriters such as Jeff Tweedy, Jessica Pratt and Titus Andronicus.

And this cover is nothing short of special, adding itself to the ranks of incredible performances we’ve seen from Stella Donnelly over these past few months. Recently the aussie legend has been featured on KEXP and on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert. While both of those performances were filled to the brim with talent, this performance comes pretty close to the greatness we’ve come to expect.

Let It Be was conceived at a time when the band’s members grew increasingly hostile to each other, impeding their creative process. It is technically considered the penultimate album from the band due to Abbey Road being recorded last, even though it was released first.

On the cover Stella brings her trademark vocal tone to perfect pitch as she seamlessly glides across the starry skies of ‘Across the Universe’. It’s a track most people recognise instantly from its chorus, which shines with sparkling intensity.
