Lana Del Rey isn’t planning to rest on her laurels, revealing she is already making her next album, days after the release of Norman Fucking Rockwell!
If you weren’t blinded by the release of the first new Tool album in 13 years last week, then you might have found yourself listening to the latest album by Lana Del Rey.
Dubbed Norman Fucking Rockwell!, the album is Del Rey’s first in two years, and has already scored widespread acclaim across the board, seeing itself on track to be considered one of the year’s best.
Of course, with the release of non-album track ‘Looking For America’ in response to mass shootings last month, it’s no secret that there’s been new tunes cooking behind the scenes. Now, Lana Del Rey has revealed her next record may arrive sooner than anyone could anticipate.

Speaking to The Times, Lana Del Rey explained that she’s already deep into the process of album number seven.
“I’ve already written parts of it. It’s called White Hot Forever,” the artist explained. “I feel like it probably will be a surprise release sometime within the next 12 or 13 months.
“I’m really excited right now. I don’t want to take a break.”
While the lengthy interview saw Del Rey touch upon a number of topics, author Al Horner took to Twitter recently to give readers a bit of extra info, revealing that the mesmerising artist might have given us a hint as to who she might work with on her new record.
“Well, I really like The National,” Del Rey explained when asked about who she would like to collaborate with next.
“[Matt Berninger’s] voice, I think about it… a lot,” she added. “Every time a song is playing I’m like, who’s that? It’s always them.”
Although it’s obviously still early days, it seems as though we might at some point in the next year find ourselves listening to another stunning record from the mighty Lana Del Rey.
