Jonny Greenwood and Thom Yorke have both debuted solo works of their own this year and now, Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien is following suit.

Releasing ‘Santa Teresa’, the guitarist and vocalist has demonstrated his venture into some clever, swirling ambient territory. Taken from what we’re assuming is a forthcoming debut album, ‘Santa Teresa’ is full of expertly delivered tonal work and texture.

O’Brien worked with producer Flood (Nine Inch Nails, PJ Harvey) on the new music, though additional details of what is in store when it comes to EOB’s new music has been kept hushed up. To keep fans intrigued, the musician has simply said more ‘songs to come soon’.

Earlier in the year, O’Brien told NME that his long-awaited solo album was finished, and hoped it would be out in September or October.
