The Voice Australia is a steaming dumpster fire of offensively bland ballads and grating oversinging. In contrast, The Voice Myanmar might just be the single most lit up reality show on the planet.
Earlier this year, Novem Htoo, a contestant on the Myanmar edition of the show, delivered what we believe to be the best-televised singing competition audition we’ve ever witnessed. Htoo cracked off a searing performance of the Slipknot classic ‘Spit It Out’. Which you can check out below.

Thankfully, the judges on the show all exhibited that they were people of taste and turned their chairs around to see who was responsible for such a guttural display. Honestly, if Corey Taylor is in the market for an understudy, we’ve found his man.
Slipknot were scheduled to grace Australian shores later this month in support of Metallica’s WorldWired tour. Unfortunately, the tour has since been postponed — but The Knot are determined to make their way down under as soon as they can.
“We only recently heard the news about the tour being postponed, and we are working as quickly as possible to determine next steps,” the band shared in a statement following news of the postponement of the tour.
“We hope to see you all very soon.”
In other news, former Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn recently expressed that he was optimistic about returning to the band. Fehn was given the boot earlier this year after he filed a lawsuit against the band, alleging that he had not received proper payment during his time playing with them.
Since his dismissal, Fehn has kept a relatively low profile on social media. Fehn recently broke his social media silence to share a picture with his son on Instagram.
“Sorry for the delay in my posts. I think you can all understand. New life. Dad. Loving it!!!” One follower, zacharygarcia5606 commented, “Pls go back to Slipknot,” to which Fehn swiftly replied with a simple, “Someday.”
