2020 is gearing up to be a big year for music fans, with the Dave Matthews Band just announcing their first Aussie headline dates in six years.

Back in 2018, the Dave Matthews Band released Come Tomorrow, their first new album in six years. An intriguing listen, the record received widespread critical acclaim and gave the group their seventh consecutive appearance at the top of the US charts.

Since that time, the band have been busy touring around the world and ensuring that fans get a chance to see their mesmerising live show. Now, just days after the group were nominated for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, the Dave Matthews Band have announced their first Aussie headline shows in six years.

Last in the country for the 2014 Bluesfest, the Dave Matthews Band recently found themselves atop the bill for the 2020 event, joined by the likes of icons such as Crowded House and Patti Smith.

Now, the band have announced a pair of headline shows during their visit to the country, plotting shows at Sydney’s First State Super Theatre (formerly ICC Sydney Theatre) on April 15th, before visiting Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on April 17th.

Boasting a voracious fanbase and delivering a live show that is considered amongst one of the best around, the Dave Matthews Band are undoubtedly icons of the music world, making these shows set to be some very in-demand affairs.

Tickets to these gigs go on sale from 1pm on Friday, October 25th through Live Nation, with a fanclub pre-sale beginning at 2pm on Tuesday, October 22nd, and running for 24 hours. Finally, a Live Nation pre-sale begins 3pm on Wednesday, October 23rd and runs until 11am on Friday, October 25th.

Check out all the details below, and be sure to catch the iconic group before they (potentially) get deservedly inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next year!
