And all the girlies say he’s pretty fly (for a science guy). Bill Nye, of Bill Nye The Science Guy fame, made an appearance on the New York Fashion Week today and the internet isn’t coping.

Nye, a Renaissance man if ever there was one, was seen strutting his stuff to “Juice” by Lizzo. As bewildered and adoring onlookers filmed, Nye cracked out some moves that’d give Channing Tatum a run for his money. The original video has racked up more than 10.8 million views overnight, and is still going strong.
Catwalk for a cause
In a post-strut interview, Nye revealed that he had made his Fashion Week debut in an effort to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer.
“My dad had prostate cancer,” the 64-year-old scientist and TV personality explained.
“Researchers are close to solving this problem. So if I can support this cause, it’s cool”

Nye’s matched his class off the runway by sporting a slick blue jacket on it. Canadian fashion entrepreneur, Nick Graham, designed Nye’s outfit, joking that Nye “is one of the hottest runway models in New York.”
A range of other celebrities joined Nye on the runway, including actors Mario Cantone and Omar Sharif Jr., and New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabitha.
“I am in a fashion show,” Nye said, “the world is still spinning and we’re trying to raise money for prostate cancer research.”
The world may still be spinning, but the internet has had a tough old time trying to deal with Nye’s fledgling fashion career. A common theme seemed to be Twitter users fearing for Nye’s health on seeing that his name was trending.

Turns out he’s far from having health problems, and is instead championing research for an extremely worthwhile cause. Good stuff, Bill Nye, good stuff.
