Pop monolith Katy Perry has announced that she will be hosting a concert in support of the Victorian communities affected by bushfire devastation. Perry will perform at Bright’s Pioneer Park on March 11th.  Tickets for the show are free and have been allocated to emergency services and residents of Towong Shire and Alpine Shire.

Those outside the affected areas are able to register their interest to attend, though due to capacity limitations this registration of interest will not guarantee a ticket. You can find more information here.

“As a native Southern Californian, I know firsthand the devastation of wildfire across my home communities, and was particularly 💔 by the Australian bushfires,” Perry shared in an Instagram post.

“Australia has always given me so much love and support so FIGHT ON is one way to return that love, and help provide a little bit of joy to a country that’s given me so much joy.”
