Merivale is hosting a bunch of excellent free gigs over the next few months to encourage Sydneysiders to embrace the vibrancy of this city. The hospitality heroes are hosting a programme of free live music, laneway pop-ups, late-night bites and exciting initiatives throughout the CBD. This Friday, Australian dance stalwarts Sneaky Sound System have been enlisted to take over the ivy’s Pool Club for what a night of pure euphoria.
It’s Friday the 13th and what better way to celebrate all the freakiness than to revel in timeless thumpers like ‘I Saw a UFO’ and ‘Pictures’. The long, torturous reign of Mercury’s retrograde is finally over and it’s time to celebrate your newfound freedom. The opportunity to see a band of this calibre play a venue so intimate doesn’t happen often. So whatever you thought your Friday night plans were are your Friday night plans no longer.
