Seminal new wave heroes Pretenders have announced their new record, Hate for Sale. The band have shared lead single, ‘The Buzz’.

“I think we all know that love affairs can take on the characteristics of drug addiction,” Chrissie Hynde said. “‘The Buzz’ is about that. Not mine, of course—I’m never obsessive never obsessive never obsessive.”

This marks the first album from the band since 2016’s Alone. Produced by Stephen Street, this is the first full-length songwriting collaboration between Chrissie Hynde and guitarist James Walbourne. You can find the tracklist and album artwork below.
