It was only a matter of time before someone took the good gospel of Fred Durst and appropriated it to reflect the COVID-19 pandemic. Musician Fa Caudwell has shared a cover of Limp Bizkit’s classic ‘Rollin” and reimagined the lyrics to reflect the importance of practising social distancing and hygiene amid the corona crisis.
“Stay in, don’t go out /
And wash your hands now /
Mask up, mask up /
Coz we’re going into lockdown”
The production value on the performance is actually quite sublime. We’re also advocates for people doing literally whatever they need to in order to maintain an ounce of sanity in these insane times. Check it out below.

This is not the first (and will absolutely not be the last) time we’ve witnessed a classic ditty get a COVID-19 makeover. Last month, Neil Diamond released an acoustic reworking of his jubilant anthem ‘Sweet Caroline’ to reflect the times.
“Hands/Washing hands/Reaching out/Don’t touch me/I won’t touch you.” he sings in a video, that features a very excellent cameo from his dog. You can check it out here.
