Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker has given us the funkiest cure to dance away our self-isolation blues. During this period of social distancing, Cocker has been cracking off ‘Domestic Disco’ live-streams, permeating the airwaves with the most delectable disco cuts.

If you’ve missed the livestreams, fear not, for Jarvis has our back. The musician has done us all a colossal favour and collated all the tracks into one tidy little playlist. The near-four-hour beast is made up of 49 songs from his virtual DJ sets. If you feel yourself descending into a slump, we can’t stress enough the potent effect that blasting tunes and prancing around the house like Hugh Grant à la Love Actually has on your state of mind.

“JARV IS… giving you homework,” he wrote as the playlist’s caption. “Listen to a playlist of all the (available) tracks that have featured so far during Jarvis Cocker’s Domestic Disco sets. And start dancing.”

This isn’t the first time Cocker has been the white knight of quarantine. Last month he shared a list of his favourite films to binge in isolation.

“My Significant Other had the great idea of asking friends to recommend five favourite films to help while away the hours whilst we’re all stuck indoors,” he wrote at the time. “Guess who got asked to go first?” He adds “I’ll bet you’ve seen some (if not all) of them before – but never under these circumstances. Stay safe.”
