Maggots rejoice, Slipknot have unleashed a behind-the-scenes look into the production of the music video for the gorgeously gruesome ‘Unsainted’.
The film was directed by the band’s own M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, and sees the band acknowledge landmarks of their hometown Des Moines, Iowa, including seating from the Iowa State Fair Grandstand, and an upside-down Iowa Capitol golden dome.

Unfortunately, this month saw Slipknot cancel all scheduled 2020 tour dates amid the coronavirus pandemic. It’s not all bad news though, the band are apparently using their time in isolation to cook up their tenth record. Guitarist Jim Root recently revealed that the band “throwing around” ideas for another record.
In an interview with Loudwire, Root revealed”: “there’s a lot of different philosophies and ideas and things we’re throwing around with Slipknot for another record, things like that.”
“It’s easy for me to write Slipknot arrangements and ideas. They come kinda naturally to me just because I spent so much time with Paul [Gray, former bassist]. As much as I’ve written on the last two records I don’t have to think about that too much.”
