The son of Lisa Marie Presley and grandson of Elvis Presley, Benjamin Keough, has passed away. He was 27.
As TMZ reports, Keough reportedly took his own life. Law enforcement sources have reported that Keough died on Sunday in Calabasas from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
‘She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life,” Lisa Marie Presley’s manager shared with TMZ.
Benjamin was the son of Lisa Marie and musician Danny Keough. Throughout his life, he kept a relatively low profile, despite being born into fame.
In 2009, Benjamin reportedly signed a $5 million record deal with Universal. ‘The music will be nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all,’ he said in a interview at the time.
Benjamin has three sisters, actress Riley Keough, 31 — an actress who has cut her teeth in a number of independent and horror films, including 2019’s The Lodge and twins Finley and Harper Lockwood, 11.
