To celebrate the release of her new music video for ‘Rebuild‘, Yarra Valley singer-songwriter Paige Black has recorded a special cover of Pearl Jam’s 2000 classic ‘Last Kiss’.

It’s a stark, luscious, soaring rendition of the grunge classic, carried by Black’s timeless voice.

Paige Black was born and raised in the Yarra Valley, her connection to home permeates through every avenue of her music. It’s soul-nourishing music.

Though Paige only has two singles under her back, the equally stunning ‘Rebuild’ and ‘Blind’ — she’s proven her prowess for writing haunting, introspective, liberation music.

“I hope to make people feel empowered that we will get through this together, through challenging times and loss and while we rebuild we can make some change for the better,” explains Paige on her latest single ‘Rebuild’. “For the good of the human race and for mother nature.”

‘Rebuild’ arrives with a gorgeous music video, filmed over two days across Victoria. The music video is an exploration of the scale of emotion one experiences during isolation.

“I just imagined myself walking endlessly with the environment changing around me, illustrating my journey of emotions while writing the song,” explains Paige.

“Evolving from feelings of isolation and uncertainty to then feeling empowered from seeing the silver linings and wanting to make change. Starting in an eerie deserted city which was once bustling capturing feelings of the unknown to an open mystical country road of hope and then transitioning to a trail in the wilderness, finding power and change journeying through and coming out to the open breath of fresh air at the beach at sunrise.”
