Trailblazing rapper DMX has not passed away, despite reports

UPDATE: DMX has died. Aged 50.

Reports alleging that trailblazing New York rapper DMX has passed away have not been confirmed by any reliable source. 

Rumours that the rapper had died were sparked by a series of Instagram stories by his friend, comedian Luenell. Who shared a tribute to her friend that seemingly implied that he had passed on. You can read more about that here.

Following the Instagram posts, a number of news outlets reported that sources closes to the family and friends of DMX had confirmed the rapper’s passing. Though I don’t think I’ll be giving much credence to the ever-reliable Gossip On This dot com.
