Music From the Home Front has added even more big names to its 2021 lineup, including the likes of Crowded House and Mark Seymour.
As if the first artist announcement featuring Amy Shark and Tash Sultana wasn’t impressive enough, the annual concert has upped the ante with its latest update.
That’s right, Abby Dobson, Augie March, Crowded House, Delta Goodrem, Kate Ceberano, Mark Seymour, Morgan Evans, Nikka Costa and The Australian Children’s Choir have all been added to the list of performers who will be streaming their sets.
ICYMI, the concert will consist of live performances at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, as well as streamed performances from special locations across the state.
Both the live and streamed performances will be televised to viewers at home from 7.30 pm AEST on Saturday, April 24th via Channel 9.
As if that wasn’t enough, it will also be streamed globally on YouTube at the same time as Channel 9.
Amy Shark, Bliss N Eso, Lime Cordiale, Tash Sultana, The Rubens and Vance Joy are just a few of the previously announced artists who will take to the stage at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Meanwhile, Ben Lee, Dean Lewis, Jimmy Barnes and The Kid Laroi were among the already announced acts who will have their sets streamed.
In even more exciting news, David Campbell, Brooke Boney and Kate Gudinski have been announced as the hosts for the evening.
Gudinski’s father Michael was the person who conceptualised last year’s inaugural Music From the Home Front Event.
The Chairman of Mushroom Group and Aussie music legend was in the final stages of planning this year’s event when he passed away suddenly last month.
In a statement, Crowded House’s Neil Finn made note of the show falling on Anzac Day Eve.
‘With Crowded House recently reunited and playing live in NZ it was a pleasure to be able to perform for Music From The Home Front again, this time all in the same room,” he said.
“We remember those who went before, who first summoned the ANZAC spirit, as it moves to a new level with free travel once more between our shores, hopeful signs … We also remember the originator of this gathering the late great Michael Gudinski.”
Mark Seymour also paid tribute to both the Anzacs and Michael Gudinski in his statement, saying: “It is an honour to be part of this great television event once again. “Brilliantly conceived last year by our long-time friend Michael Gudinski, Music From The Home Front is both a powerful statement of respect for the courage and sacrifice of our war dead and a celebration of Australian songs in the Anzac tradition.”
Final tickets for the Bowl concert are still available via Music From The Home Front’s website.
