While we’re still high on the ride that was ‘I Can’t Stop Me’, K-pop girl group TWICE has announced a comeback for June!
To be honest, we’re still recovering from the mania of ‘I Can’t Stop Me’ that TWICE fuelled in all of us, but we won’t say no to new music from the group. Turns out, we won’t have to wait long for it after all!
TWICE have confirmed that they’re working on a comeback, and we can expect to see them back on our screens in June!
The news caught fire yesterday after a South Korean publication reported that the group was gearing up for a new release and were seen filming the music video on Jeju Island. A spokesperson from JYP Entertainment, TWICE’s agency, confirmed the reports and informed that while there was no other information yet, a detailed schedule would follow soon.
The upcoming comeback will not be the only new music we get to see from the act: their Japanese single, ‘Kura Kura’, is set to be released on May 12th.
The members are also set to make their NBC debut later in April. Earlier today, they announced on social media that they would be performing their single ‘Cry For Me’ on The Kelly Clarkson Show on April 27th.

‘Cry For Me’ was earlier slated to be a gift for their fans — the group performed the as yet untitled track as a surprise at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in December 2020. Following positive response, they released it officially as a single along with an English version.
This will be the group’s first album since October 2020’s Eyes Wide Open, which earned them their highest entry on the Billboard 200 chart. Bowing out at No. 72, TWICE are only the third K-pop girl group after 2NE1 and BLACKPINK to chart among the Top 100.
