Axl Rose might be a tormented genius control freak (or just a real wanker) but according to a poll published by music website www.musicradar.com, Axl Rose is the greatest front man of all time. Despite the fact that all members of Guns n’ Roses original line up quit or were sacked by him, he’s still beaten out the likes of John Lennon, Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger, who didn’t even make the top 10.
The top ten are:

3. Robert Plant
4. Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath, Dio)
5. John Lennon
6. Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden)
7. Thom Yorke (Radiohead)
