US rapper Bruno Mars will be pleading guilty to cocaine possession charges after his lawyers struck a deal with Nevada prosecutors. Mars – real name Peter Hernandez , was busted by a toilet attendant of all people – doing  a cheeky line of Columbian marching powder in the toilets of the Las Vegas Hard Rock Cafe in September last year.

According to Clark County District Attorney David Roger, he’ll cop a sentence of a year of probation and will have to cough up a $2,000 fine, as well as attending drug counselling and performing 200 hours of community service. That’s sure to make his Australian fans all the more keen to offer him a line of the white stuff when he tours here in April, because the tour is going gangbusters since it went on sale at 9am yesterday.

Most dates are sold out but we’ll keep you updated if there are any further shows announced.
