After two successful years in Melbourne, Hello Sunshine will return to Victoria and debut in the Gold Coast in 2025.
The festival will take place at Caribbean Gardens in Melbourne on Saturday, March 1st, and Broadwater Parklands in the Gold Coast on Saturday, March 8th. Tickets for the all-ages event go on sale Friday, September 6th, at 9am AEST via www.hellosunshinefest.com.au. A 24-hour pre-sale begins Thursday, September 5th, at 9am AEST.
This year’s lineup includes Stone Temple Pilots, Smash Mouth, Wolfmother, Kasey Chambers, Rogue Traders, Drapht, Bluey, Lenny Pearce, and Whistle & Trick.
Stone Temple Pilots will headline both events. Known for their 1992 debut album Core and hits like “Plush,” they return to Australia for the first time in over two decades.
Smash Mouth, famous for “All Star” and their recent album Missile Toes, and Wolfmother, with their enduring hard rock, will also perform.
“Australia has got to be one of the coolest places to play,” says Smash Mouth ahead of returning down under for Hello Sunshine in 2025.
“The people there know how to party! We are so excited to head back to Australia to perform at the Hello Sunshine Festival in March. It’s going to be amazing. Summertime! Outdoor Festival! Australia! Yes Please!”

Perth hip hop artist Drapht brings his high-energy show in tow with his 2003 debut album Pale Rider. “I’m stoked to be on the Hello Sunshine line up in March!,” he says. “It will the first time doing all-ages shows in Melbourne and on The Goldy with my band, so we’re psyched to share the music with those who may not have heard the songs live yet! Cant wait!”
Kasey Chambers, Rogue Traders, Drapht, and other notable acts will bring a mix of rock, pop, and hip hop to the festival.
