In one of those ‘you couldn’t make it up’ scenarios, Smashing Pumpkins’ latest bassist Nicole Fiorentino has revealed she was one of the two young girls on the cover of the band’s 1993 classic album Siamese Dream. The 31 year old, who has also played bass in Spinnerette and Veruca Salt joined the band last year, but only recently revealed the amazing coincidence to Pumpkins front man/dictator Billy Corgan recently.

Corgan jumped on his Twitter page to say “Just found out the weirdest news: our bass player Nicole… just admitted she is one of the girls on the cover of Siamese Dream. She said she didn’t want us to know because she thought maybe we wouldn’t let her be in the band.” Fiorentino would have been about 13 when the album came out.
