Melbourne’s Live at the Gardens November series has added Miami Horror, Sneaky Sound System, and Bag Raiders to the schedule.

Presented by Roundhouse Entertainment, in conjunction with MG Live, the Live at the Gardens November series will also feature acts including Franz Ferdinand and The Living End, as well as Songs From the Canyon and RocKwiz Live.

The night will feature full live sets from three of Australia’s most popular party-starters, who were all recently named in Rolling Stone AU/NZ‘s 50 Greatest Australian Electronic Acts of All Time list.

Led by Australian-born, LA-based producer Benjamin Plant, Miami Horror returned earlier this year with their first studio album in nine years, We Always Had Tomorrow. It incorporated disco and soul influencers, reaffirming the band’s place as a leading Australian live act.

The band are also celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut album, Illumination, this year.

Meanwhile, Sneaky Sound System remain of the country’s most in-demand live acts. Since forming in 2004, the dance music icons have gone on to win multiple ARIA, AIR, and MTV Awards, along with earning global acclaim.

Their self-titled debut album achieved triple platinum status and spent more than 60 weeks in the ARIA Top 50. Earlier this year, the duo returned with Shiver, a showcase of Connie Mitchell’s vocals and Angus McDonald’s production mastery.

Bag Raiders have also been at the forefront of electronic music since their 2010 self-titled debut. The duo, Jack Glass and Chris Stracey, have continued to push boundaries with “Shooting Stars” going multi-platinum in 26 countries, including Australia and the US. In 2023, global pop icon Troye Sivan sampled the single on his smash hit “Got Me Started”, which earned a Grammy nomination.

Also joining the party are DJs AROHA and Joey Lightbulb.

AROHA, a genre-blurring Māori DJ and producer, is renowned for her bold, high-energy sets and acclaimed productions. She has supported icons including Grace Jones and Groove Amanda.

Meanwhile, Naarm/Melbourne-based Joey Lightbulb has recently completed his “Winter of Disco Content” tour, selling out shows in Castlemaine, Barwon Heads, Northcote, and Fitzroy.

Tickets for Live At The Gardens go on sale Wednesday, September 3rd at 9am on Ticketmaster.
