Following the release of his latest album, UK alternative artist Baxter Dury is bringing his Allbarone tour to Australia and New Zealand in 2026.
The Australian leg of the tour will kick off at Melbourne’s Forum on April 28th, before heading to Sydney’s Roundhouse on April 29th, and The Tivoli in Brisbane on May 1st.
Dury will then head across the Tasman for performances at The Hollywood Avondale in Auckland on May 3rd and Wellington’s Meow Nui on May 4th.
Tickets will go on sale at 1pm (local) on Thursday, February 5th. Mastercard Australia and Westpac New Zealand presales will run from 12pm (local) on Tuesday, February 3rd. A Live Nation presale will run from 12pm (local) on Wednesday, February 4th – sign up here for Australia, and here for New Zealand.
With genre-blurring music that blends post-punk, indietronica and art-rock, his sound leans on sleek synths and a cool, understated aesthetic rooted in a distinctly British sensibility.
His 2025 album Allbarone is described as a nine-track “tour-de-force”, stripping everything away and building Dury’s “most melodically direct, futuristic collection” yet. It was produced by Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence & The Machine), marking the first album he’s worked on in over five years.

Of the release, Dury shared: “I don’t want to say it’s contemporary. Because I sound like a cunt using that word. But it does sound really contemporary. It doesn’t sound like a Harrods hamper band made it. It doesn’t sound like a band made it all. Which is what I wanted most of all. It’s just something that’s brand new for me. It’s quite exciting, really.”
