The ever mysterious Sydney metal artist Cenobia has taken another major step in her rapid rise, signing a worldwide deal with Fearless Records.
The enigmatic newcomer joins the label’s global roster ahead of the release of her debut EP, Lethal Devotion. It comes after she has built a following around a mix of heavy music, cryptic storytelling, and video game-inspired visuals.
Cenobia first emerged independently in 2025 with debut single “Devour Me”, before following it with “Throne of Want” and “Make Us Whole Again”. The mystery surrounding the project – including narrative-driven music videos and cryptic online clues – has even prompted speculation among some listeners over whether Cenobia is a real artist or an AI creation. But – to clarify for those people – she is in fact real.
Now signed to Fearless Records, Cenobia will release the six-track Lethal Devotion EP on September 18th, which features the new single “Swallowed By the World”, the fourth track released from the project. The song continues Cenobia’s modern metal sound while exploring themes of obsession, internal conflict, and rebirth.

Alongside “Swallowed By the Whole”, “Devour Me”, “Throne of Want”, and “Make Us Whole Again”, the EP will also feature forthcoming songs “Hypoxia” and “Constellation”.

Cenobia will take the new material on the road later this year, joining Northlane on their Anemoia Australian tour throughout November. The run kicks off at Perth’s Metro City on November 5th before heading to Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.
