Jimmy Barnes joined ONEFOUR on triple j’s Like a Version this week to take on an iconic track.

The Sydney-based drill collective teamed with the local legend and Jessica Mauboy to cover Phil Collins’ classic, “In The Air Tonight.” Check out the full performance below.

“Jess and Jimmy were easy to work with, like, their vibe was mad,” ONEFOUR said.

“We all come from different genres and music and backgrounds, so just to come together — you know, it was definitely a moment.

“Something in the air.”

“Our apologies but due to unforeseen circumstances we have no choice but to push the Back Outside tour into 2027,” the group shared on Tuesday. “New dates are locked in. All tickets already purchased are valid for the new dates.”

Meanwhile this week, Barnes was announced tp headline a major outdoor rock show at Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden this December, a watered-down version of the South Australian Sounds By The River.

Barnes arrives off the back of another busy stretch. His 21st studio album, DEFIANT, reached No. 1 in June 2025, adding to a career tally of 22 chart-topping albums. Rolling Stone AU/NZ gave the album four stars, calling it, “a little bit Springsteen, a little bit Stones, and a whole lotta Barnsey.”
