Bachman-Turner Overdrive have announced their first-ever tour Down Under.
The Canadian rock band will tour Australia capital cities in February 2027, with a setlist including hits like “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet”, which reached No. 1 in over 20 countries, along with “Takin’ Care of Business”, “Let It Ride”, and “Roll On Down the Highway”.
Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Friday, September 25th, following a presale from 10am on Tuesday, September 22nd. All times are local. Sign up for presale here.
Randy Bachman revived Bachman-Turner Overdrive in 2023, touring Canada and the US in 2024 and 2025. The 2027 dates are part of the band’s ‘No Speed Limit’ world tour, following Bachman’s touring stint with former bandmate Burton Cummings as The Guess Who.
Led by Bachman, BTO has recently revamped its lineup. Bachman said: “BTO has truly become a family band again. My son, Tal Bachman on guitar, my daughter-in-law, KoKo Bachman on drums, and our friends Lance Lapointe on bass and Brent Knudsen on guitar.
“We sound better than ever. We’re playing all the hits, as well as diving deep into the album cuts, and the response from fans has been incredible. The BTO sound is BACK!”
Bachman has received more than 120 gold and platinum album and single awards worldwide and has sold over 40 million records. His songs have been recorded by other artists and used in television, film and advertising.
Bachman first found success with The Guess Who in 1965 with “Shakin’ All Over”. The band went on to release five million-selling singles, written by Bachman and Cummings. By 1970, The Guess Who had outsold the entire Canadian recording industry to that point, including the Beatles that year. Their hits included “These Eyes”, “Laughing”, “Undun”, “No Time”, “No Sugar Tonight”, and “American Woman.”
