Continuing his effort to claim the crown of the nicest guy in rock n’ roll, Dave Grohl’s humble outfit Foo Fighters have announced that they’re going to do a bunch of gigs to promote their new album Wasting Light by playing in fans’ garages. The album was recorded in front man Dave Grohl’s San Fernando Valley California garage and he wants fans to be able to enjoy the band rocking out in their own garages.
Hence, he’s decided to take the band on a tour of North America but sadly not Australia as they give the new album a work out and play for punters where there will be a maximum of 50 people per show. Fans have to be in New York, Denver, Chicago, Washington DC, Seattle, Minneapolis or Toronto to enter, but all is not lost for Aussie fans – they’re also being legends and playing some charity concerts in Australia next week.
