The dreamy, lush indie-pop goodness that is ‘So Pretend’ — with its bright, sunny finger-picked riffs and thumping toms — evokes images of a warm spring day in some sort of picturesque, green forest or park. Although there are not a lot of different parts to the song, it’s so cohesive and well-written that it manages to remain interesting and enjoyable throughout its entire duration.
