Michael Chugg reckons they sound like Pink Floyd on valium… and look it, Chuggi’s been round a while so he probably knows. Anyways, South Australian group Messrs, the synthy, indie champs previously known as the Touch, are releasing new single “Everyone Knows” and zooming off on tour to celebrate.

In the past couple of years they’ve supported other talented types, such as Phoenix, Ladyhawke, Miami Horror, DZ Deathrays and Children Collide, as well as popping along to entertain hordes of festival-goers at Big Day Out, One Movement and Fuse, but will officially make their debut as MESSRS at this years Parklife Festival in Adelaide on Oct 3rd. Hello MESSRS!

Handpicked by Great Escape Festival Director Jon Mclldowie  to play the 2011 UK festival alongside bands like The Jezabels, Seekae and Little Red and headlining a 2,000 person capacity venue just one night after Wu-Tang in Munich these fellows are more than ready to headline a few shows back on home soil.

What’s more they’re inviting everyone to download their hot new bit of music “Everyone Knows” right here.
Go ahead.
