A Day To Remember have returned with more new music for 2020, premiering an official video for brand new single ‘Mindreader’.

The single is the third tune from the forthcoming album You’re Welcome, which was originally slated to be released in November, 2019. The latest update on the release date is to expect the record in early 2020.

‘Mindreader’ follows the release of other singles ‘Degenerates’ and ‘Resentment’, and comes with a ripper animated video.

A Day To Remember announced the premiere of the new single in cryptic fashion, giving fans a hotline to text. Upon sending it a message, fans then received the following response: “Thank you for calling the Mindreader Psychic Hotline! Don’t miss your chance to find clarity and understanding. Click the link to stay in touch with me and A Day To Remember.”

Shortly afterward, punters were directed to the band’s YouTube channel, where a video premiere was awaiting them. The clip for ‘Mindreader’ went live at 2pm AEDT.

Speaking with Tone Deaf last year, A Day To Remember’s Neil Westfall said he loves Australia so much he would live here. “I fucking love it here, I think I say it like every time we do interviews, but I would live here if you guys would let me.

“I mean, I know it’s not up to you, but if they would let me, I would live here.”

Westfall also revealed that the band’s first album since 2016’s Bad Vibrations was almost complete, which surely means there’s a good chance it will be released sometime in 2020.

“We’re at the very end, I would say we’re about 98% done. It’s been cool, it’s been over a year long, and we did a lot of it at home.

“And on this record especially, we’ve gotten better at all of the aspects we’ve kind of tried to push out on the previous records, and so this we just went further and got better… I don’t quite know how to explain it.”
