RVG‘s sophomore release was always going to stand out and send jaws to the floor.

Following their critically acclaimed 2017 debut A Quality of Mercy, RVG has a way of making you feel heard, understood, but not hopeless on this perfect 10-track collection of angst and reflection.

Recorded at Head Gap studios with producer Victor Van Vugt (PJ Harvey, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Beth Orton), this is Romy Vager, RVG’s lead singer and lyricist, in peak poet mode. She is brash and brilliant, everything we’ve come to expect from our exciting Melbourne music exports.

Listen to Feral by RVG:

“RVG’s second album sees the Melbourne outfit at their powerful best. Working with famed producer Victor Van Vugt, Feral captures the group’s live sound to create a mesmerising record, self-described as “a call to arms”. With its uncompromising compositions showing listeners that RVG are here to be seen and heard, Feral might just be one of the most important albums to come out of Australia this year.”
– Tyler Jenke

“RVG’s Feral is a refreshing release, allowing important topics to once again come to the forefront, all the while being backed by the post-punk sound the group have managed to craft as their own. Undeniably proving they’re a force to be reckoned with, Feral provides you with not only an album to groove to, but one to sit back and reflect on.”
– Brittany Jenke
