Ali Campbell’s UB40, the much-lauded iteration of the band featuring original frontman Ali Campbell as well as founding members Astro and Mickey Virtue, have announced their triumphant return to Australian shores.
Having performed to widespread acclaim at Byron Bay Bluesfest earlier this year, the band will return for a special run of Australian shows this January, including an appearance at the scenic Sandstone Point at Bribie Island.
The band will be treating fans to performances of all of UB40’s classic hits, including ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You’, ‘Here I Am (Come And Take Me)’, ‘I Got You Babe’, and many more.
All of these hits and more have made UB40 one of the most prolific and influential acts to emerge from the UK in the late ’70s. This tour is your chance to celebrate the band’s legendary discography with three of their original members.
