Punk rock is a notorious love-in, as evidenced by the actions of Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio (and possibly another trio, the very mention of which severely angers our readers) who has named his motorcycle after Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day.
He has even gone so far as to paint a’39’ on the back, a nod to the band’s debut album 39/Smooth. If Billie ever leaves the band, we know who the other two will call up as replacement.
